Background

CPENG was formed in May 2014 and has grown quickly to become a highly successful networking group for mid-to-senior management professionals. We welcome business people from all disciplines.

When and where do we meet? CPENG meets once a month at 9 different locations. Plymouth Meeting, Exton, Lancaster, Reading, Lehigh Valley, York, Harrisburg, Wilmington DE and Pennsauken NJ,

Does the meeting follow a regular format? Every meeting is attended by a deliberate mix of members and guests. As a member, you will always have an opportunity to meet someone new and expand your professional network. We try to limit the number of attendees at each meeting to between 20 and 25 people. This ensures that the meeting is lively and gives ample time for members and guests to give their elevator speech and receive comments, suggestions and assistance from our membership.

The meeting format is very successful and facilitates the most productive use of the available time. The focus is on honing networking skills and assisting members with introductions that lead to new opportunities.

Our objective is to help members develop high quality business contacts. By having appropriate membership acceptance criteria, we ensure that we have a professional, cross-functional and supportive environment which leads to profitable business for all.

Can you attend meetings as a guest? You may attend two meetings as a guest to see CPENG in operation, meet the members and decide whether membership is right for you. What is the Membership Criteria?

•     Executive management experience [Director, Vice President, C-Level] OR
•     5+ years of middle management experience – i.e. cross-functional responsibility

•     4-year degree, preferred

•     Current Resume

•      $52.00 annual dues 

CPENG was founded by, and is led by, experienced networkers from diverse backgrounds and industries.  We offer a monthly forum at each of our area chapters, as well as quarterly socials to encourage greater attendance for our working members.  As a member, you will have access to our on-line resource materials, links to current networking and search strategies, and access to our robust searchable member directory and to our member and recruiter supplied job postings.
