Ron Fowler

Membership

Ron is an energetic and visionary Senior IT Executive with more than 25+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector. Having worked in startup to billion-dollar organizations, Ron’s strong IT skill set augmented by his unique multi-discipline background and uncanny insight and perspective has provided him the skillset to consistently deliver solid ideas and solutions to optimize and streamline operations. A technical leader and goal driven problem solving team player Ron has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, risk mitigation and mobilization of teams to deliver results. Currently working as a Director of IT for a mid-size manufacturing organization.

Ann Doerries

Asst Chapter Leader - Reading

Finance leader, strategist and overall force for change who aligns talent, technology, and analytics with enterprise business objectives to drive performance. She brings deep finance management experience and expertise in business strategy, integrated planning, business analysis, risk management and performance improvement.

Ann has served in financial leadership positions for large global companies in the energy, manufacturing, and consulting industries, including Kinder Morgan, LyondellBasell, Reliant Energy, Baker Hughes, and most recently as CFO of UGI Energy Services.

Ann’s professional career is underpinned by a broad and deep accounting, finance, consulting, and project management acumen. She earned a BBA in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Paul Licata

Lehigh Valley Chapter Leader

Paul is the owner of BDi Machinery Sales, Inc. in Macungie, PA, which is a business of importing specialized agricultural machinery for vineyards, orchards, row crop farms, and nurseries. He has more than 25 years’ experience including senior sales, marketing and operations management positions.

Previously, he work at dormakaba Americas in the security and commercial building access industry, Case New Holland Industrial (CNHI) in the agriculture and construction industries, as well as Lutron Electronics, Co. in the residential and commercial electrical manufacturer industry. Prior to joining Lutron Electronics, Paul held senior management positions at Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, and Event Solutions International, Inc. His approach and accomplishments have resulted from a focus on understanding customer needs and closely partnering with sales to drive growth.

Paul earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA and resides in Orefield, PA. He enjoys spending his free time being outdoors as much as possible, exercising, and enjoying his passion for automobiles and motorsports.

Paul currently serves on CPENG's Lehigh Valley facilitator and serves on the Board of Directors.

Joe Long 

Treasurer


Joe is a finance leader who enhances the bottom-line of a business by leveraging scarce resources, improving processes, and providing critical business insight.  He has a strong knowledge of retail operations, has been part of executive leadership teams, and supports the business by offering both hands-on and management experience in all aspects of strategic planning, operational finance, and business intelligence.  Joe has been heavily involved in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, business intelligence, financial systems, and retail operations

He is an operations partner who collaborates with cross-functional teams, bringing financial acumen and problem-solving skills to drive complex organizational improvements.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and family and volunteers for his local school district, youth sports, Boy Scouts, and recently has been involved with the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.  He enjoys golf and all Philly major sports teams.

Joe currently serves CPENG as Treasurer.

Eleanore Meals 

Exton Chapter Leader

Eleanore is an astute, dynamic senior manager who effectively drives operational efficiencies, resulting in strong fiscal performance and impressive business growth. She is a collaborative business leader who transforms organizations by creating a high-trust environment, advocating for change and empowering individuals. Ms. Meals is an innovative and dynamic thinker with an outstanding record of exceeding organizational objectives, developing corporate strategy, and implementing best practices.  She is a creative and consensus-building change agent, with a clear focus on bottom-line results.
Eleanore most recently was the General Manager for Legacy Supply Services in Wilmington, Delaware. While at Legacy, Ms Meals was responsible for all functional duties including directing their North American Logistical Operations for International shipments. She was charged with growing a key third party relationship with Agilent Technologies.  Previously, she worked as a General Manager for Elite Marketing Group where she managed a team of 50 sales professionals, in a fast paced sales environment.

Glenn Miller

Reading Chapter Leader

Glenn is an accomplished Senior Finance Leader reporting to Presidents while being a proactive player on Leadership Teams.  Glenn focuses on developing high performance yet cost effective Teams with achievements in improving profitability, working capital/cash flow, department/cross-functional processes, as well as receiving favorable Audit reports.  In addition to account-abilities in all the traditional areas of Accounting/Finance--his roles also expanded to include Management of I.T., H.R., Contracts, Compliance, Warranty, and an Order Entry SSC.  He also has experience with acquisitions, international business, and ERP implementations.  Glenn’s educational foundation includes a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State, he was a licensed CPA for many years, and has an MBA in General Management from Saint Josephs. Outside of work in addition to CPENG--he organizes Finance Leaders Forums with MASCPA, has been actively involved in American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, as well as being a Mentor for Penn State business students. 

Glenn believes in the CPENG Mission and embraces the benefits of networking, Glenn started the Harrisburg Chapter in Nov. 2017 and is now serving as Chapter Leader in the Reading Area.  He is a former BOD member, makes new member welcome calls and manages the CPENG LinkedIn group.

Ed Samuel 

Newark Chapter Leader

Ed is a senior Executive Career and Transformation/Life Coach, certified Career Assessment Team Leader and Resume Writer for a firm called, SamNova, Inc. based in Kenneth Square, PA.  He is also a certified Retirement Coach, LinkedIn Branding and Networking, Consultant and Entrepreneur Coach. He provides one-on-one executive career transition coaching for senior executives across a multiple of functional roles and industries. Ed conducts career management workshops, guest speaker and facilitates executive level networking events. He also provides mentoring and assistance to career transition coaches. Ed also provides executive outplacement transition support for CCI Consulting, Inc., a Career Partners International affiliate. Ed has led 125+ executive networking forums with more than 2300 executives over the last 9 years.  He has led extensive Corporate recruiting efforts for a multi-billion dollar global manufacturing firm and as a recruiter at multiple 3rd party firms. Ed began his career with DEC, where he spent 19 years in Accounting and Customer Operations. He was the General Mgr. of Corporate Customer Service for The Stride Rite Corp. Ed garnered extensive international experience as the Global Director of Customer Admin. with QAD, Inc. He was a VP of Operations and CFO for two distinct high-tech venture firms. Prior to moving to career coaching and recruiting, Ed was a licensed (Series 7, 63) Financial Advisor for UBS Financial Services. Ed holds a B.A. from Wilmington University - summa cum laude and undergraduate degree in Accounting. 

Ed also leads a non-profit ministry in stewardship and employment with Crown Financial Ministries as a US Advisor and Leader. Ed is a certified Money Life Coordinator (MLC), Career Direct Trainer, Career Direct Network team leader and MoneyLife Indicator Consultant. He is very active in church, loves to spend time with his family, hike and fish for smallmouth bass.

Tim Trout

Lancaster Chapter Leader

Tim is a proven leader with financial, accounting and management experience, including; budgeting, financial analysis & reporting, process improvement, credit & collections, risk management and purchasing. 

Outside of work, Tim is active in Boy Scouts, The Institute of Management Accountants and several non-profits, where he has held key leadership and board positions.

Tim currently serves on the board and volunteers as the Lancaster facilitator.

Jim Watkins

Harrisburg Chapter Leader

Jim is an experienced leader with a diverse background.  In business, he has managed engineering, multi-site manufacturing, quality and regulatory departments.  He has led cross-functional teams, including international partners.

Outside of work, Jim is active in his church, where he has held various executive leadership roles and committee chair positions.

Jim started and led a networking support group in New England when his employer released over 30 people.  

Upon return to PA, Jim joined, and became a leader in an executive networking group where he built a team that created best practices.  Jim is a past President of CPENG and is the meeting facilitator in Harrisburg.
