Alex Pilkington

President

Alex A. Pilkington is the current President of CPENG and brings over 25 years of leadership experience and has held executive roles across industry sectors from startups to global Fortune 500 organizations. As a two-time entrepreneur, he has built, operated and scaled both organizations and successfully positioned both for acquisition.

Mr. Pilkington draws his extensive leadership ability and experience from his service as a United States Army Ranger and SOF Operator. He has completed many of the U.S. Army’s most prestigious and challenging leadership schools and programs, trained with many of the world’s most elite special operations groups and highest government agencies. Through these experiences, Mr. Pilkington is able to offer a truly unique combination of experience, insight and leadership to an organization.

Mr. Pilkington has held full executive oversight of Business Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, Business Development, Finance, Strategy Development and Execution and Risk Management, among others. And has built and managed global and local teams and direct reports.

Mr. Pilkington’s personal philosophy is that he is a student of life and vigorously seeks out opportunities to continue his personal and professional learning and growth. He draws energy from opportunities where he can share his life experiences and lessons learned and uses them to help others grow and benefit as a result.

A servant leader, Mr. Pilkington believes it is his responsibility to lead by example and does this by actively participating in and supporting his community, veterans and service members and as a mentor to young, aspiring leaders. He regularly volunteers his time for a national veteran organization and for his Alma Mater.

Mr. Pilkington has a Master’s Degree in Management, Strategy & Leadership from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix and received his Project Management Certification from Boston University.

Saige Pacholok

Secretary

Saige Pacholokis a Solutions Consultant in software and technology, with an expertise in leading organizations through extensive assessment and discovery processes to find the best technology solutions for their organization. Saige excels in building strong relationships and communicating with her clients to ensure successful projects and implementations, skills she has used to make an immediate impact in the industry.

Saige’s ability to build relationships, lead teams, and communicate was developed throughout her career in the sports and entertainment industry. Saige played competitive ice hockey for 20 years, including as a representative of her province, home country of Canada, and the University of Wisconsin Badgers.

She is also an active volunteer for Resolve Walk of Hope and eagerly supports other organizations that her friends and family are involved in.

Saige’s various life and work experiences brought her to Pennsylvania in 2021. She was introduced to CPENG in the fall of 2020, which was a perfect fit as she loves networking and helping people.

Jim Watkins

Past President

Board Member

Harrisburg Chapter Leader

Jim is an experienced leader with a diverse background.  In business, he has managed engineering, multi-site manufacturing, quality and regulatory departments.  He has led cross-functional teams, including international partners.

Outside of work, Jim has been active in his church, where he has held various executive leadership roles and committee chair positions.

Jim started and led a networking support group in New England when his employer released over 30 people.  

Upon return to PA, Jim joined, and became a leader in an executive networking group where he built a team that created best practices.  Jim is past President of CPENG and is the meeting facilitator in Harrisburg.

Joe Dunn

Board Member

Joe Dunn, Senior Director and CAPT (ret), USN, has been advising in business and the government sector in senior roles for more than 15 years. Joe has end to end responsibility for Conduent’s Lockheed Martin corporate engagement reporting to Frank Khoshnoud, Vice President and General Manager, Automotive, Aerospace and Defense.

He has worked on Space, Aerospace, Surface and Subsurface defense programs and he has experience in large, multi-site, procurement, supply chain, logistics and international HR issues. Joe was directly responsible for more than $40B in programmatic contracting and several hundred million in total cost of ownership savings. He has process improvement experience solving complex military and commercial operational support matters.

He has lived in Bahrain, Japan and the Great Britain and has worked with a large swath of the US and international defense industrial base. Joe has traveled extensively solving a variety of issues including leadership of strategic planning processes, PPBE budget development and execution, team training and leadership coaching.


Kirsten Yurich

Board Member

Kirsten is a dynamic and experienced executive who brings together teams, individuals, and stakeholders to create high-performing cultures that outperform expectations.  Kirsten has held executive roles in non-profit and advocacy organizations. She is a published author, research, invited speaker, and adjunct professor at multiple universities. Currently she brings together non-competing CEOs and business leaders as the facilitator of an executive peer-advisory group and provides executive coaching to its members. She is passionate about developing leaders to be better versions of themselves who make better decisions and achieve better results for their companies.

Mike Pijar

Board Member

Mike is the Director of Manufacturing at ecore International. Prior to ecore, Mike held manufacturing leadership positions at Ross Technology, Dart Container and Ardex Engineered Cements / The W. W. Henry Company.

Mike was CEO/COO of Tank Services where he guided its strategic direction and growth. Prior to Tank Services, Mike was the General Manager of Berner International and Berner Energy Recovery. 

He also worked at Armstrong World Industries.

He has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, organizational change, new product development and management.

 

Paul Licata

Board Member

Lehigh Valley Chapter Leader

Paul is the owner of BDi Machinery Sales, Inc. in Macungie, PA, which is a business of importing specialized agricultural machinery for vineyards, orchards, row crop farms, and nurseries. He has more than 25 years’ experience including senior sales, marketing and operations management positions.

Previously, he work at dormakaba Americas in the security and commercial building access industry, Case New Holland Industrial (CNHI) in the agriculture and construction industries, as well as Lutron Electronics, Co. in the residential and commercial electrical manufacturer industry. Prior to joining Lutron Electronics, Paul held management positions at Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, and Event Solutions International, Inc. His approach and accomplishments have resulted from a focus on understanding customer needs and closely partnering with sales to drive growth.

Paul earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA and resides in Orefield, PA. He enjoys spending his free time being outdoors as much as possible, exercising, and enjoying his passion for automobiles and motorsports.
