CPENG Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How can I get a new password?
    On the Home page, click “change password” in the top-right corner next to your name. Enter your current and new password, then click Save.
  2. How can I edit my profile?
    Click your underlined name at the top right of the Home page to access your profile. Click "Edit Profile," make changes, and then Save.
  3. How do I know if my membership renewal is due?
    You'll receive automatic email reminders: 2 weeks before, 1 week before, the day of, and 1 week after your renewal date.
  4. How do I pay if my membership has lapsed?
    Open any of your reminder emails and click the embedded payment link to renew.
  5. How do I see jobs?
    Jobs are available to members only. Visit the Job Forum (under Forums). To get daily job alerts, subscribe via the right side of the Job Forum page.
  6. How do I get the “Job Forum daily update summary” email alert?
    Go to Forums → Job Forum. Use the "subscribe" option on the right side of the page to receive daily job posting emails.
  7. How can I find a member?
    Members can search via the “Members” tab. Use Advanced Search for filters like company or location. Use Simple Search if you know the member’s name.
  8. Can I attend other chapter meetings?
    Guests are welcome to attend 1–2 meetings. Members can attend any of the 5 CPENG meetings across our regions.
  9. Why should I register for a CPENG event?
    Some events have limited seating. If you don’t register, you may not have a spot. Can’t make it? Let the meeting facilitator know so your seat can be released.
  10. I visited the website as a guest and don’t see job postings or resources. Why join?
    Members get access to Job and Discussion Forums, searchable member profiles, exclusive articles, events, and recruiter support.
  11. Can I post job opportunities?
    Not directly. Please send job details (Word doc format preferred) to: jobs@cpengroup.org — Tim Trout will post it for you.
  12. Can I post non-CPENG events?
    Not directly. If the event benefits members, email full details (Word doc format) to: events@cpengroup.org

While CPENG is all about networking, we know many of you are also interested in seeing active job listings. We have two ways that job opportunities are shared with our members:

1. Job Forums (CPENG Website)

  • Log into the CPENG Website, click on Forums → Job Forums.
  • If you’d like listings emailed to you, click “Subscribe”. You’ll receive a daily email whenever new jobs are posted.
  • Want to share an opportunity? Email it to Jobs@CPENGROUP.ORG.

2. LinkedIn Group
